Whether you are new to FAP or are advanced, this pre-conference workshop at the Assoc. for Contextual Behavioral Science (Montreal, July 24-25) aims to take participants to the next level of understanding and application. FAP augments the impact of treatment by focusing on the therapeutic opportunities presented when clients’ daily life problems occur in the therapy session, and by the therapist showing up as a whole person who is willing to be courageously vulnerable in the service of client growth. We will delve into how your therapeutic behaviors can increase impact on your clients by changing how you respond to them, rather than by trying to “fix” them, and we will provide a refuge for the unseen, unmet, and unheld to return home to your heart.
